Demo vs Full Version¶
A public demo build exists. It lets you run, tune and dyno an engine, but greys out several panels. This wiki describes the full game.
What it is¶
The public demo build lets you:
- run the engine,
- edit the VE, Lambda and Ignition tables,
- use the dyno,
- change parts in Setup,
- play the Scenarios, and
- change Options.
What's greyed out in the demo¶
| Where | What is locked |
|---|---|
| Top bar | Save tune and Load tune |
| FUEL page, right column | The whole enrichment column: crank, after-start, warmup, accel, and wall-film comp |
| LAMBDA page, right column | The closed-loop panel |
| IGNITION page, right column | Cold idle, idle strategy, knock detection, rev limiter and DFCO delay |
The log area is covered by a "get the full game" button.
The values behind locked panels still run — you just can't edit them.
Why it matters¶
If a panel described on this wiki is greyed out for you, you're in the demo. These pages carry a note at the top:
- Cranking, After-Start, Warmup, Acceleration, Enrichment Overview and Wall-Film Compensation
- Closed-Loop Fuel Trim
- Cold Idle, Idle Control, DFCO, Rev Limiter and Exhaust Pops & Afterfire
- Knock & Detonation and Octane (the dropdown)
- Saving & Loading Tunes
In the game¶
Locked panels are visibly greyed out.
